All About The Angmering Garage Sale Trail

A Bit of History

The first Angmering Garage Sale Trail was held in the Summer of 2016 as an experimental community event thought up and organised by local resident Carolyn Strand.  Over 60 Angmering residential properties took part in that first event.

The event was so well received that the community asked for it to be held again each Summer since.

Sadly, due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, we were unable to responsibly hold the event in 2020.  But 2021 and 2022 we were back and with a growing local community are looking forward to THE BEST Angmering Garage Sale Trail yet!

How it Works

Local residents in any part of Angmering but not outside of it set up stalls at their homes, all together, on the same day.  Those who send in their details via this website will be added to a trail map/list to help shoppers easily find them.

The Map/list is made available on this website, on social media and a small number of printed ones can usually be picked up at Graham Butt Estate Agent in the village.  The map is not released until the day before the event takes place.

Buyers come from near and far to walk and shop the trail which is almost impossible to cover in its entirety in one day if planning to actually buy anything! Everyone gets talking and before you know it the day is over.

Additional information and support for both buyers and sellers can be found in our Facebook group and as the date draws nearer, the event is promoted via social media platforms.

It’s a great day where not only visitors get to see and meet Angmering, but we get to see our neighbours and meet locals too!
